An energy healing can cause past problems lying dormant in your body to resurface. This is all part of the process of healing these issues, as your body adjusts to the flow of energy. You may want to try Reiki a few times to become aware of your energy shift. Once you know what to expect, you are more at ease during the process and open to change. Your session’s effects can last from days to weeks. The more you receive Reiki, the higher the level of healing continues, as energy shifts continue to align within you.

Reiki is performed either by light touch, or by hovering my hands lightly over your body. Distant Reiki can also be done when a in-person session can not occur.

Reiki is performed fully clothed on a massage table, your couch, recliner, bed, or wherever you are most comfortable. Most people will feel relaxation, and some fall asleep. While others may experience a tingling or heat sensation, or have deeper connections and experiences. Calming tones and music can be played in the background, to provide a safe and quiet environment that promotes healing.
