Thank you for visiting my site. My name is Shannon Gavin, and I’m a Reiki Master, Practitioner, and Teacher: trained in Usui Reiki, Animal Reiki, and certified in EFR (Emotional Freedom Reiki, which uses EFT tapping points.)

I have always been drawn to the spiritual side. I started formally learning meditation and healing techniques when I was 13, at Berkeley Psychic Institute.

When I became certified as an Usui Reiki Master in 2003, I already had over 20 years of experience in meditation and energy healing techniques. You get the benefit of that experience. After I became certified as a Reiki Master in 2003. I additionally received my certificate as an EFR, (Emotional Freedom Reiki,) practitioner and teacher in 2009.
I have continued to practice my own spiritual growth through retreats and workshops with my teacher of 25 years. My intuition guides me to sense physical, mental, and emotional issues energetically in the body. I can sense energy blocks in your aura and chakras, which I clear energetically through Reiki. I will align and clear your chakras, and remove cords that are attached to you.
I live in Hollister, California, with a menagerie of cats. I provide house calls everywhere from Morgan Hill to Santa Cruz to Monterey, and via distance Reiki everywhere in the world. I would be honored to help you. Come and experience Reiki with me!

* I learned that a friend of mine had thrown her back out and been in severe pain, unable to move well for three days. I did Reiki on her that evening, and in the morning she said she had slept well and awoke without any more pain! It makes me happy to know I helped her feel better.
* I was doing Reiki at a fair, and I kept feeling like I needed to place my hands over a woman’s pelvic area. I finally asked for permission to place my hands over that area, and she was surprised. She told me she’d been having an issue in that area for months, and doctors had told her she needed to take care of it, which she had been avoiding. She got the message.
* A woman asked for Reiki, to clear her emotions after she got divorced, because she wanted to date the cable guy. (Really! We laughed.😂) As I’m doing Reiki, I keep hearing “George”. So I finally asked is your ex-husband‘s name George? And she said, “No, that’s the name of the cable guy!!"
* I have had the honor of helping three of my cats come back from the brink of death, quite literally. They each survived for 5-15 more years, I’m still counting, as two are here now. I am currently using Reiki to nurse our very elderly cat back into eating, after he had stopped two weeks ago. He’s enjoying still being with us, eating well, walking much steadier, and loving snuggling on my chest for Reiki.
